We find the job your team does by hand every morning, and we take it away.

Two weeks inside your operation, in person and free. Then one written answer: which job is costing you most, and what your morning looks like without it.

A morning, by handGone

Pull yesterday's tickets

Cross-check three systems

Chase what is missing

Rebuild the schedule

Send it out

Five jobs, one person, and all of it before the day starts.

What this looks like

You already know which one of these is yours

Site work and civil

Margin fade, bid against actual

Someone rebuilds tomorrow's crew and equipment plan every morning from yesterday's tickets, three phone calls and a whiteboard.

Property management

Turn time, and maintenance margin

Maintenance requests arrive by email and text, get re-keyed into the system by hand, and the vendor follow-up lives in someone's head.

Security and guard

Billable coverage, overtime as a share of payroll

The roster is rebuilt in a spreadsheet each week and the overtime is discovered afterwards, on the invoice.

Restaurant groups

Labour as a share of sales

Three systems get reconciled by hand before payroll, and nobody can say what a shift actually cost until it's over.

That's mine. Come look at it

If none of them is yours, the two weeks will find the one that is. We don't arrive knowing what your problem is.

Track record

I built the platform. It moves freight for the Fortune 500.

I joined a container logistics company as its only engineer and built the first version of the product it sells. It runs freight for Fortune 500 shippers today. I hired the team of ten that maintains it, and I'm its staff engineer.

The two weeks

The two weeks are free. You know the last day before we start.

At the end you get one written answer, yours to keep whether or not you hire us again.

The visit and the two weeks are a free discovery and diagnosis, in person. If you want us to build what we found, we price that afterwards, against what the diagnosis showed it’s worth. What a forty-truck yard needs isn’t what four needs.

Have us come out
Days 1-3

We watch

On site, in the trucks. Nobody fills anything in. We write down every job somebody does by hand.

Days 4-7

We ask one question

We ask the people doing the job, not only the people who own it. The answers are different and both matter.

Days 8-12

We cost it

Hours a week, and what it would take to remove, starting with the tools you already pay for. If it isn't worth removing, we say that in writing too.

Day 14

You get one document

Yours to act on with us, with somebody else, or on your own. It also says what we'd leave alone, because some of it works and changing it would be a bad trade.

Next step

We come to you, and you leave with one thing worth trying

Thirty minutes at your yard. Tell us what your mornings look like and we'll tell you which part we would go after first. If that's useful on its own, take it and run it yourself.
